Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF)

Short Description/Objective: 

To support children from third countries attending Public Kindergartens in Cyprus to learn the Greek language.

Expected Benefits/Outcomes:

The project will operate in a supportive manner for the reception and smooth integration of children in the school environment, as well as their interaction with both other children and kindergarten teachers. In addition, it will help support language learning through the other subjects of the curriculum, the understanding of concepts and the enhancement of cognition. The target group is also expected to develop oral and written language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) in the Greek language, necessary for their everyday communication.
