Cohesion Policy
The Cohesion Policy contributes to the strengthening of the economic, social and territorial cohesion across the EU. It intends to correct imbalances among countries and regions contributing to the green and digital transition. In the context of Cohesion Policy, Cyprus is funded by ERDF, CF, ESF+ and JTF.

European Territorial Cooperation (ETC)
Common Fisheries Policy
The goal of Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) is fishery and aquaculture development while retaining marine diversity and resources. The CFP is funded in Cyprus by EMFAF.

Migration and Home Affairs
The Policy in the Sector of Migration and Home Affairs, intends to combat the illegal migration, to improve the borders management, and enhance internal security and defence. This policy is funded in Cyprus by the AIMF, ISF, and BMVI Funds.

Common Agricultural Policy
The Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) aims at farmers’ support, agricultural productivity improvement, and assurance of a decent living for farmers, while contributing to the confrontation of climate change and sustainable management of natural resources, retention of agricultural regions and an alive rural economy. In the context of CAP, Cyprus is funded by EAGF and EAFRD.

Next Generation EU
The Next Generation EU constitutes a temporary instrument for supporting the recovery from COVID-19 pandemic. It aims at the mitigation of instant economic and social damages that have been caused by the corona virus pandemic, the sustainable development, by enhancing the revitalisation and resilience of the economy. In the context of the Next Generation EU, the biggest part of the support towards Cyprus will derive from RRF.
